The Ski school Hochgurgl is located about 200 metres from our hotel. There are various offers concerning diverse winter sports.

Distance to the nearest Skirent / Sport shop
There are 2 sport shops in Hochgurgl where you can rent Skies, Snowboards, Monoboards, cross country sets, telemark sets, Bigfoots or slides. The shops are open daily and are a short hop from our hotel.

Arrival/chains/Snow

Snow tyres
For your own safety you should use snow tyres when the temperature reduces to less than 7 degrees Celsius. Besides it is much more easier to drive on the B186 (federal road that leads to Hochgurgl) with snow tyres.

Snow Service
Only in case there is heavy snow fall it may be that you have to use snow chains.

Snow chains
We recommend you to buy snow chains before your departure. In case there is heavy snow fall it may be that they are already sold out. Furthermore we would advise you to inform you how to use your snow chains.

Pick up service
Just in case you arrive in one of that few days in which our streets are not cleared we are glad to help you. If you like we organise a pickup service for you.

Arrival without Vignette
You do not have to buy a vignette when you take the Fernpass and the Tyrolean highway.
