Alpenhotel Laurin - special events require special actions!

Current information for guests - as of September 15th 2021

To enable a safe and successful winter season, the Ministry of Tourism and Health have drawn up specific winter rules. The existing 3-step plan already provides the legal framework in part:
• Level 1: Currently
• Level 2: From 7 days after the intensive care bed occupancy rate has exceeded 15% (300 beds)
• Level 3: From 7 days after the occupancy rate has exceeded 20% (400 beds)
The following measures apply in any case up to level 3. This comes into force seven days after the intensive care bed occupancy rate of 20 percent (400 beds) has been exceeded. Measures going beyond level 3 will take place in the event of a further increase in intensive care bed occupancy, especially for unvaccinated people.

Gastronomy and accommodation
• Level 1: Currently access with 3G proof
• From level 2, antigen tests with self-acceptance ("living room tests") are no longer permitted as evidence of admission.
• If stage 3 comes into force, this means for restaurants and hotels that rapid antigen tests are no longer valid as proof of admission (admission with a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery).
• Measures going beyond level 3 - in particular restrictions for the unvaccinated - will be carried out in line with the general measures.
• In general, the same rules apply to après-ski as to night gastronomy. During level 1, guests must show a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery (medical confirmation or separation notice). An antibody detection or antigen test is not sufficient.
• For night gastronomy and après-ski establishments, the 2-G rule (vaccinated and convalescent - tests of all kinds) is introduced from level 2.
• Special regulation for unvaccinated employees: at least FFP2 compulsory and PCR test compulsory 3 times a week
• Measures going beyond level 3 will be carried out in accordance with the general measures.
• In the future, reduced curfew and break curfew will be made possible for après-ski. Whether in addition to the federal states and district administrative authorities, the municipalities can also take stricter measures in the future is being examined and could be done via the Covid-19 Measures Act or the Epidemics Act.
• 85% of the cable cars are open vehicles with a lower risk of infection and a journey time of less than 15 minutes.
• To secure the winter season 2021/2022, the cable car companies are taking additional measures.
• Levels 1-3: Since September 15, 2021, it has been mandatory for visitors to the cable car operations to wear an FFP2 mask.
• Introduction of the 3-G rule from the start of the season:
o If entry certificates are introduced, these must be checked when tickets are sold.
o Work is being carried out on a practicable implementation for operators and visitors (coupling of online ticket sales for automated control).
o Visitors must always carry valid evidence with them and present it as part of random checks.
o The obligation to wear an FFP2 mask remains
o If visitors fail to comply with the epidemiological measures, the cable car companies should be released from their transport obligation.
