Alpenhotel Laurin - special events require special actions!

Current information for guests - as of September 18, 2020

The health of our guests and employees as well as our own is the most important thing and according to this top priority we are hosts and employers.
You can be assured that we strictly adhere to all measures that benefit our health as well as all hygiene regulations.
The measures are continuously adapted to the official requirements of the Austrian Federal Government. Please note that there may be changes.

A SAFE HOLIDAY at the Alpenhotel Laurin
Since the current situation is very dynamic, it is important to react quickly to official orders and to offer our guests maximum security.
Our goal is to work with you to ensure the safety and hygiene of all employees and guests and to enable a safe and carefree holiday in our hotel despite the current situation of the corona pandemic.
All measures can only take effect if the guest and hotel work together. We therefore ask for your understanding for restrictions in the service and offer that are currently necessary to enable a safe holiday.

Our hygiene and safety concept
• With our Hollu cleaning concept and the associated increased cleaning and disinfection intervals, we take care of our guests and employees.
• Cutting discs have been fitted where necessary.
• The minimum distance of 1 m must be observed in all areas of the Alpenhotel Laurin
• It is compulsory for guests and employees to wear mouth and nose protection! Please wear mouth and nose protection in all publicly accessible areas of the hotel (except at the seat / table). We ask you to bring your own mouth and nose protection for you and your children.
• Notes on the elevators ask you to only use them individually or only with your company and family.
• Disinfectant dispensers are already in critical positions such as at the entrance, at the reception, at the lift.
• Continuous control of toilets and public areas with simultaneous disinfection of points of contact such as handles, buttons, switches
• The luggage trolleys are disinfected after each use.

Culinary - our Laurin half board and our hotel bar
The restaurant and bars in our hotel stand for trend, style and conviviality. First of all, all things that cannot be reconciled immediately with social distancing. With our measures, the balancing act between the two sides has succeeded
The distances between the tables of 1 meter are maintained, or separating discs have been installed, which results in automatically changed restaurant capacities.
All guests are seated at any time of the day, markings on the floor (buffet and reception area) indicate the distance rules, a stand at the entrance to the restaurant refers to the "valid rules of the game"
Opening times can vary or be adjusted according to hotel occupancy, and the number of people can be limited depending on the size of the restaurant and the number of seats. We thank you for your understanding that specific table requests are not possible due to the maximum "table occupancy" and the minimum distances to be observed.
Disinfectant dispensers can be found at the entrances and near buffets
Guests must wear masks as long as they are not seated at the table
Buffets take place in compliance with hygiene regulations (hand disinfection) and with the necessary spacing. We ask you to wear your mouth and nose protection.
At buffets, our products are either pre-portioned and neatly packaged or with serving cutlery and disposable gloves for you to take out.
The daily menu, the wine and bar menu are available in digital form directly on your own device (QR code)

Your guest room
We will clean your room even more thoroughly and ventilate it well before your arrival. Our trained employees use the Hollu cleaning concept for cleaning. Please understand if your check-in is delayed as a result. - Please note that only the maid is allowed to be in the room while cleaning the rooms. We ask you to keep the check-out time and clearance of the rooms by 10 a.m. in order to guarantee the cleaning and disinfection intervals for you.

Tyrolean bathing room
The distance rules and the associated maximum number of people must also be observed here. You will find this at the entrance to the bathing room.
The sauna (no infusions, as well as waving towels allowed), infrared application, steam bath, can be used together by guests who share a room or spend their holidays together. Notes on this are posted by the sauna. If the saunas are heavily used or there are many guests in the hotel, we will offer you appointments for the sauna. The employees clean strictly according to a cleaning schedule and regularly disinfect the wellness area.
Opening times will be adjusted if necessary.

Arrival and departure
As usual, we welcome you to our hotel from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival.
When entering the hotel, it is necessary to wear a face mask.
The check out time remains unchanged at 10:00 a.m., we ask you to adhere to the check out time and clearance of the rooms, this is the only way we can guarantee the cleaning and disinfection intervals for you.
We have set up a plexiglass pane at reception. In order to shorten waiting times, we ask our guests to send us the information for the check-in by email before arrival. Each guest receives the information personally in advance by email.

What if an infection occurs in the hotel?
Should there be a suspected COVID-19 case in the hotel, we will proceed according to the plan of the authorities and take the right measures.
Please let me know if you feel unwell or ill. Our reception team is trained and will arrange everything. Important to know:
The sick person and family members must stay in the room.
We will contact our family doctor immediately.
In the event of suspicion, the doctor notifies the health authority.
The room is not entered for 3 days and is then professionally cleaned and disinfected. The room will only go on sale again after another 3 days.
We haven't had a single Covid-19 case in the hotel to date.
