Your way to the Laurin
Idyllic location – great transport connections. High up in the Ötztal Alps, our Alpenhotel Laurin sits at an altitude of 2,150 metres, right on the Timmelsjochstraße. You can reach us by public transport, car, motorcycle or bicycle. Many guests also pass by our hotel while hiking along the E5 trail. Even though we are nestled in the mountains, offering you peaceful relaxation, we are easily accessible all year round by various means of transport. Here you will find more detailed information.

If you're travelling from the north, you have the following options:
- Munich - Kufstein (Inntalautobahn A12) - Innsbruck - Exit Ötztal - Hochgurgl
- Munich - Garmisch - Scharnitz - Telfs - Ötztal - Hochgurgl
- Kempten - Füssen - Reutte - Fernpass - Imst - Ötztal – Hochgurgl
From the south (Italy) your route is as follows (Note: only possible in summer!):
- Brenner Autobahn A22 – Ausfahrt Bozen Süd – Meran – Passeiertal – Timmelsjoch – Hochgurgl
At Alpenhotel Laurin, a secure parking garage is available on request in winter (€20 per day). In summer, the garage is free for motorbikes. Charging stations for electric vehicles are located in front of the hotel.

By train and bus
- Take the train to Innsbruck or Ötztal Bahnhof, then continue by bus—four times daily from Innsbruck or eight times daily from Ötztal Bahnhof to Hochgurgl. You can find the latest bus schedules at www.vvt.at.
By plane
The airports in Munich, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Friedrichshafen, and Bozen are connected to destinations across Europe via daily scheduled flights. We offer airport transfers from Innsbruck in collaboration with local taxi services.
For a convenient transfer from the airport or train station, we recommend the Ötztal-Shuttle.

From late October to late May, access via Timmelsjoch (from the south/Italy) is not possible. In summer, the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road is open daily from 7 am to 8 pm. Please take this into account when entering your route into a navigation system!
