Welcome to the Esstaurant
That´s what it´s called and that´s exactly what it´s for. At lunchtime, we serve à la carte at he Laurin. Our ESSTAURANT in Hochgurgl is open daily to hotelguests and outside visitors alike. Wheather you´ve just come in from the slopes or decided to skip skiing for the day.
Plenty of wood, alpine cosiness and modern design make the space our take on a traditional Tyrolean Stube. Through the large windows, you can enjoy impressive views of the mountains surrounding Hochgurgl. Fur us, the place for lunch at 2150.
The name, by the way, comes from our daughter. When she was little, her logic was as simple as it was convincing: if you go somewhere to eat, you go to an ESSTAURNT. “Restaurant” simply didn´t make sense to her. So it was settled: our restaurant would be called Esstaurant.
We serve hot dishes daily from 11.45 am to 1.30 pm. After that, it´s time for something sweet. Cake is available until 5.00 pm.
Skier, non-skier, hotelguest or simply hungry, come by. We look forward seeing you!
À la carte lunch break
Skiing makes you hungry. Not skiing does too, by the way. Whether you´ve just come from the slopes, enjoyed a relaxed morning or simply left the skiing to the snowstorm outside, lunchtime means ESSTAURANT time! And afterwards? Back on your skis, off to Relax & Move 2150, or simply stay a little longer.
Outside guests welcome
You don´t have to stay at the Laurin to have lunch with us. If you´re in Hochgurgl and fell like stopping by for lunch, you are just as welcome at the ESSTAURANT as our hotel guests.
