We really enjoyed our stay in Hochgurgl. The location of the hotel is fantastic; in just a few minutes, you’re on the skis and at nearly 3,000 metres. Simply fantastic... Overall, we can recommend the hotel, especially towards the end of the ski season when it’s already too warm for other ski areas.
Ski holidays in Hochgurgl at 2,150 metres
You come to Hochgurgl because you want to ski. That’s exactly why we’re here.
Laurin 2150 sits at 2,150 metres, right in the heart of Hochgurgl’s winter landscape and only around 200 metres from the slopes. And altitude makes all the difference: Hochgurgl is one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in the Alps, with a long winter season from mid-November until the end of April. Have breakfast, click into your ski boots – and just a few minutes later, your day on the mountain begins.
The Gurgl ski area connects Hochgurgl and Obergurgl, offering 112 kilometres of slopes, 25 modern lifts and skiing up to 3,030 metres. Wide, perfectly groomed pistes, plenty of space to ski and usually short waiting times at the lifts are all part of what makes skiing here so special.
Because for us, true luxury on a ski holiday isn’t about having the highest possible number of piste kilometres. It’s about spending as much time as possible skiing. And that’s the beauty of a compact, high-altitude ski resort like Gurgl.
And when the ski day is over? Head back to the Laurin. Ski boots off, into 2150 Relax & Move, followed by a drink at the bar and dinner overlooking the mountains.
And tomorrow? Do it all over again.
Laurin 2150 – the place to ski.
Why Laurin 2150?
Because a perfect day on the slopes starts the moment you wake up. Just minutes from the piste, snow-sure at high altitude, and a ski area where you spend more time skiing than waiting.
The first turn. The snow beneath your skies and that feeling of never wanting to stop.
