Ötztal attracts many guests in summer and winter. The wonderful glacier world has a very magical flair, which you will experience the moment you arrive.

Arrival by car

• Munich - Kufstein (Inntal motorway A12) - Innsbruck - exit Ötztal - Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
• Munich - Garmisch - Scharnitz - Telfs - Ötztal - Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
• Kempten - Füssen - Reutte - Fernpaß - Imst - Ötztal - Obergurgl oder Hochgurgl

Please note: on Austrian motorways you will need a badge, which is available at every gas station or tobacconist’s in Austria.


Arrival by train

• Take the train to Innsbruck or Ötztal station. Take the bus from Innsbruck (4 times a day) or from the Ötztal station (8 times a day) to Obergurgl or Hochgurgl.

Arrival by plane

• The Innsbruck airport is connected via scheduled flights to destinations everywhere in Europe. Additionally there are charter flights in summer and winter.
• Groningen in the Netherlands is one of the new destinations, offered by the Transavia airline.
