There are at least two good reasons for conquering the steep ascent to scenic Festkogl peak: the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding Alps and the demanding downhill trail back to the valley! From Obergurgl you follow the climbing route towards Schönwieshütte and Langtalereckhütte.
