Sölden

Skiing fun at the World Cup venue

Both hobby and professional athletes like visiting Sölden. After all, the ski area is one of the best known in Europe. Our Alpenhotel Laurin is just a stone’s throw away – so it’s an attractive day trip for you.

When I’m at the start, it’s just me and the mountain. (Mikaela Shiffrin)
The Sölden ski area offers 144 kilometres of fun and variety. And the levels of difficulty are very balanced – around 40 kilometres are easy, 70 kilometres medium and 23 kilometres are difficult pistes. 31 mountain railways take you up to the top in comfort. Modern designs, such as the 6-seater chairlift bubble to the Rotkogljochhütte, guarantee smooth operation.

The options offered by the Sölden ski resort are great: from boarder park to race courses to the mogul piste, all your wishes will come true. The ‘Golden Gate to the Glacier’ lifts connect the ski area with two glacier ski areas. This is how you get from the village straight to 3,250 metres above sea level! Of course, après-ski makes the fitting end to a day’s skiing, and certainly not something to be missed in the Ötztal.
