Hochwildehaus

In Obergurgl you follow the asphalt road below the University Center until you reach the last houses of the village. Here you turn right into the cart trail which leads uphill across Alpine meadows to Davids Hütte. Follow the walking trail until you reach the ledge (bench and cross) opposite Nasenwand rock wall. Keep to the left and walk along the ascending path through the 400-year old stone pine forest, heading towards the western slope of Hohe Mut on the easy to intermediate gravel path. Towards Rotmoostal you cross a bridge before you get to the serviced Schönwieshütte.
